Our YOC Grip

What is the difference between 1mm and 3mm grip?

We offer two types of griptape: 

  • The classic skateboard grip without absorbent foam, which is about 1mm thick. This is the most common griptape. 

 

  • The comfort grip with an absorbent foam located just below the grip. It's the perfect solution to improve the comfort of your rides. We know that after many miles on your boards, it can affect the comfort of your ride, you know that pulling sensation in your legs. The foam absorbs some of the vibrations under your feet, giving you longer and more comfortable rides. For the electric skateboards, we recommend this grip over the regular one.

I can't find my grip among those proposed on the site, what should I do?

If you can't find your grip in our catalog, don't worry. We have the possibility to adapt and redesign your contour for free. To do so, please contact us by email and tell us the model you have and the brand. 

The grip covers the screws of my cover

If you have a deck with a cover and screws on top of your deck (like Evolve GTR, Evolve Hadean Carbon, Exway Atlas, etc.), our grips will cover the screws on your cover. We have chosen not to cut them out to avoid inaccuracies. If you need to access the electronics by opening the cover, we recommend that you gently remove the grip by heating it with a hair dryer. You will be able to remove the grip while unscrewing your cover and then put it back on.

Prices are in €, why ?

Unfortunately, our online editor does not allow us to set multiple currencies at this time. If you use our editor to customize your grip, our prices will be displayed in € and your order will be payable in €. Please refer to the daily exchange rate to convert the price into your local currency.

What is the grip customization?

All our grips are cut with an ultra precise laser machine guaranteeing a perfect cut from all angles. You have the possibility to bring your personal touch by customizing your grip.

It's easy to do:

Go to the Customization section and select your deck.

Click on the Customize button, you will be redirected to our online editor and you can add your text or image. 

⚠︎ Please note that for images, please add .png or .jpg files in black and white. Please make sure that your files are of sufficient quality for the cutting process to be successful. Your designs are not printed on the grip but cut into the grip, so your design will appear in negative with the color of your deck.

Once your grip is made, add it to your cart and place your order.

How much costs the customization ?

The base price includes the addition of 1 text or 1 image. Each additional text/image is subject to a charge per addition. Please refer to the price listed in our editor for the price per addition.

Question before purchase

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We also accept payment by PayPal. If you choose to use one of these two methods, you will be directed to the PayPal website, where you will be asked to log in and process your payment. You will then be redirected to our merchant site once your transaction is complete.

When will I be refunded ?

We aim to process refunds within three days of the item being returned. Please note, however, that your bank may take several days to process the payment to your account. With this in mind, please allow up to ten working days after returning the item before contacting us about your refund. We will contact you by email to inform you of the processing of your refund.

Import Taxes

Import taxes are included for European destinations. For countries outside the E.U., import taxes may be required upon delivery. Rest assured, these taxes are quite low. 

Ordering and Delivery

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes, you can place an order as a guest without having to create an account. However, we recommend that you create an account if you wish to view your order history and save the items in your cart and payment details for next time. Creating an account is quick and easy. Just go to create an account and follow the on-screen instructions.

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at support@yocgrip.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order

There is only a short period of time between the time you place your order and the time we begin processing it. We recommend that you think carefully before placing your order. Each grip is cut to order, so one order means one cut. If you contact us immediately after placing your order, via support@yocgrip.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it is processed. If not, we will ship your order and you will not be able to cancel it.

Can I alter my order ?

If you contact us immediately after placing your order, we will probably be able to modify it. We have a 1-2 business day turnaround time for all orders. The process is fast, so please contact us promptly if you need to make any changes. 

The modification of a custom order is unfortunately not modifiable. We receive your file once your order has been validated, so it is no longer possible to modify it after placing the order. You can save your design in our editor if you are not sure of the final version yet. 

We count on you to validate the order only after being totally sure that the version you send us is satisfactory. Any cancellation of orders will result in a fee as described below.

When will my order will arrive ?

We use UPS delivery service, one of the fastest transportation services to process shipments. Please refer to the estimated delivery time below depending on your location:

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to most parts of the world. If you cannot find your country in the list of countries when ordering, please contact us on our support.

Can I track my order ?

Yes, we will keep you informed at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it to shipping and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you will receive a tracking reference that you can use to check the progress of your order online. If you have created an account, you can find your tracking number in your account.

I won't be home for my delivery, what should I do?

If you know before placing your order that you will not be home at the time of delivery, please select the option for delivery to a drop-off location. UPS offers many drop-off locations near your home. This guarantees that your order will be delivered in the best delay. 

If you are not at home at the time of delivery, the driver will have to come back, causing additional delays. Think about the deliverymen and select the delivery in relay point, the delays are not longer.

My country is not listed in the shipping list

If you do not find your country in our shipping list, it means that we do not ship to your country at the moment. Please contact us by email on our support so we can see if a shipping option is possible in your country.

Return & Refund

Can I return or exchange an item?

You may return your item within 14 days of receipt, provided it is undamaged, unused and in its original packaging. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. For information, our main warehouse is located in France. The items will have to be sent back to our warehouse. 

Customized items are unique and created just for you, they are unfortunately not eligible for a return and refund.

How do I return my order?

Please contact our customer service team at support@yocgrip.com. If the return is made within the 14-day cancellation period and meets our return criteria, you will be able to send your order back to us. You may use the carrier of your choice. YOC Griptape will be responsible for all packages signed for and received in our warehouse. Please contact your shipping department for shipments that do not arrive at our facility. We are not responsible for packages that do not reach you for any reason.

How does the refund work in case of cancellation or return?

Any cancellation of an order, even if it is not shipped, will incur a fee. By placing an order, you agree to our terms and conditions.

Griptapes can be returned but will be subject to the following fees. 

If the order has been shipped: 

          Shipping fee

          Shopify fee 1%.

          PayPal or Stripe fee 4%. 

If your order has not yet shipped:

          Shopify fee 1%

          PayPal or Stripe fee 4%. 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to inform you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you if your refund has been approved or rejected. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original credit card or payment method. Please note that after a refund is issued, it may take some time for the bank to process the transaction. Please contact us again if you have not received a refund within 7 days of the refund confirmation.

 

Customer Service

I have a problem with my grip, what should I do ?

If you have a quality problem with your grip, please contact us at support@yocgrip.com. Please include pictures, your order number and a short description of your problem. We offer responsive and quality customer support, so please feel free to contact us, we usually respond within 24 hours. 

If you don't get an answer by email, it is possible that your email arrived in our spam box. In this case, please contact us on our social networks.

When can I expect an answer to my email?

We respond to all requests within 24 hours. Please be patient, don't worry we will get back to you.
